Happy 2009

Hey Folks.. Wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year.

Another bright year, in 2008 comes to an end. From my perspective, it was a great year. Another sem in sec-H(read my previous blog) and my first sem in the department were the important turnarounds. After the first sem, moving into a new hostel Beryl, made life even more fun-filled. Not to mention, my first Festember and the 'Kartik' show. In short 2008 was full fun. Hoping that 2009 would be better.

From a broader view, 2008 witnessed many events - Barrack Obama ending the Bush reign, Chandraayan-1 set into its orbit by India, the Beijing Olympics and India's three medals etc. As far as cricket is concerned, team India had a wonderful year, beating Australia first in the CB series and then in the home test series and then triumphing over England. The black mark on 2008 would probably be the unfortunate Mumbai terror attacks. Hope somehow we put an end to such issues and have more successes in 2009.

Again a very Happy New Year to all of you. May the setting sun of 2008 take with it all your woes and troubles and let bright 2009 dawn, by bringing into your life, happiness and prosperity. God bless all of us!
